Sure, they may be skewed pretty heavily toward the master, Jane Austen but what can I say? She’s the OG of romance. I tried to choose only from Netflix but realized pretty quickly that Netflix needs to up their game when it comes to historical romance. These are the movies/mini-series that are like old friends I can come back to again and again. What are your favorites?
Confession: I wanted to include captions with each one that included a short blurb about why I loved it but technology is not my friend today (most likely because I got up at 4:30 am today)
Suffice it to say, it’s a lovely mix of contemporary and historical and even a male/male from two authors who write those so well!
