I think romantic comedies require so much skill. They have to strike the perfect balance between funny and romantic without tipping over into cheese or sap.
When done well, they give me all the feels. I’ve learned that I’m not picky about the age of the characters or the setting of the story. I just need to be invested in the journey of the characters and care deeply about them—just like any great book or show!
